While I was getting my haircut, the girl that was cutting my hair gave my hair a lot of volume w/ her straightener. I have a lot of layers, kind of like scene hair. But not totally. How can I give volume to my top layers w/ my straightener?

to get volume when you straighten it.....blow dry it first, then add some volumizing mousse to the roots of your head...blow dry again and then straighten. and if its necessary after you straighten,,,put some more mousse at the roots again. but make sure you dont mat down your hair while putting it in...work it thorugh with your finger tips as if you are scrubbing your head when you are shampooing. this should work.
