Try something really plain, or a really extreme cut. Maybe something short and layered (like a bob)with colored bangs to the side or something? I think that would be awesome.

I think the main think aout emo and scene haircuts is that there isnt many pics of them and they are unique. It's basically jsut what you want to do with your hair, there's not design for it. Ive seen lots of emo girls cutting the back of their hair really short and then gelling it all up to make it spiky. Hard to explain really.

And then theres the colour, black usually, sometimes with colours lke red and blue in it.

Make sure your school isnt like mine, as they will make you change your hair style for something more 'appropriate' BLAH!
