How is the dating scene in Texas?

I may be moving there in '08 from Kentucky...finally! I'd like to know how to get the 411 on what's up in the nightlife of Texas cities and how the dating scene is.

My first choice is Houston, followed by Austin, San Antonio, and Fort Worth. Dallas doesn't allure me.

Is finding a date easy or hard? Are the women predominantly friendly and chill or cold and uptight? Are the women attractive overall or not?

A little about me:

-Age 21, male

-Burly build (mostly muscle, a little fat but not very noticeable)

-Great sense of humor, but one uniquely my own (it's not perverted or corny)

-Curly hair

-Blue eyes

-Great smile

-About to receive my B.A., with aspirations to pursue J.D. and M.B.A.

-Not athletic, but not nerdy

-Have had great luck finding women in Texas and the South (which doesn't include KY)

-I love live music, multi ethnic cuisine, baseball, and girls with good personalities.

why are you trying to prove you're normal by posting your stats. if you're an average guy then you shouldn't have a problem getting dates in ANY city.

Well, Texas girls seem to like the more muscualr guys with abs. Also, most people have a tan here, because we are out in the sun so much so pale skin won't get you too far, otherwise I think we are pretty attractive. And I am a Texan, and I do not speak Hillbilly. You also might have to get used to how we talk, some of us talk like real Texans. Oh, and for the cities

Houston- Great city, near lakes and major hospitals, nice neighboorhoods, etc..

Austin- Has mountains, very hilly, lakes are beautiful, and be prepared to live like in the middle of nowhere.

San Antonio- Its a city full of history and tourists, so if you like that sort of thing go for it.

Ft. Worth- Great fast paced city, can become very crowed during the racing times.
