Okay so right now I have mid back length light brown hair... and I'm sorta preppy so don't say scene hair or something

But how should I get it cut, and also, should I get it colored?? Or am I too young, I'm 13...

Well it depends a lot on your face shape and hair texture. But in general, side bangs and layers usually look good. Maybe some highlights or lowlights too, so it has more colour. Side bangs with layers is ideal because you can change the look a lot, and it doesn't require a lot of styling.

I think you should cut it shoulder length and layer it with side bangs. Color it blonde, or brown with some highlights.

do you have straightners? if so then keep your hair at the same length as it is now, just have a trim to neaten it up. A side parting with a sweeping fringe will look great.
