Kind of a hard question...PLZ ANSWER...?!?

well i wanna get my hair trimmed but it has layers. and they're not one length layers. they're random layers. like in a scene hair cut the layers are all differnet lengths.i really dont want to lose the layers because they are totally perfect. i always get compliments on it. and i'm afraid if i ask for the same haircut again it wont come out this same exact way again. sorry i know i am asking for a lot.

THANKS BILLIONS!!! ; )

I think you should go to a really good hairdresser and stress to her that you love, love, love your hair just they way it is, but want your hair trimmed only a bit to keep it healthy and split end free.

Tell them you don't want a new look and you would hate it if your layers were changed.

Good luck!

You're hair stylist should know how to do that. Tell her about your concerns, and she/he will probably be extra careful to get the layers to look the same.

If you ask her for a trim like half an inch say or however much you want off she will take that much off your whole haircut following your previous haircut. Tell her how you feel about the layer and he/she will do a great job. good luck

Toni and Guy always know what they're doing. Definetly get the person who originally cut your hair to cut it again.

Well first of all, I think you may be a little confused. Layers, are never one length. You can never have just one or two layers. There are specific haircuts that create different looks. And a stylist will go in after the hair is dry and personalize with blending techniques. Most stylists, even bad ones, are able to recreate the same layerd look. Though, you can only ask that the LENGTH of your hair be cut, not the LAYERS. My suggestion? Go back to your original stylist, the person you cut your hair in the first place. She will be most likely to recreate your haircut. Oh and, no two haircuts will ever be the same. The will always somehow differ in little ways, and most of the time they are for the good. Change and improvement when it comes to you hair is NEVER a bad thing.

Tough spot you're in, but just get it cut as you've had it last time...

You definitely won't have it the exact same, but a little change doesn't hurt. Who knows? The next one might be better!
