I know this sounds like reallly stupid but i have a lot of truoble parting my hair to the side.

I want it like around my forehead. if that makes scence.

Like a scene girl.

only a litle less.

the best thing to do is get your hair wet , then comb it all the way back (using strokes from your forehead to the nape of your neck). Then use a completely straight comb to part it wherever you like. If you get a comb with a pointy end, you can do zig-zag parts.

Find the crown and start there and bring the part from there to the side closest to that crown. It will be easier to handle. Good luck
